Merchant account information includes the details supplied when creating and using an account. Store configuration includes product information, website and domain settings, and enabled integrations.
Commerce records can include shopper contact and delivery details, cart contents, order line items, payment references and subscription details. The exact information depends on the merchant’s checkout and the features they enable.
Why that information is used.
These records support account access, cart and checkout processing, order management, customer notifications and the integrations selected by the merchant. Support investigations may use information a merchant shares about an issue.
Merchants should provide their own shopper-facing privacy information explaining their store’s use of customer data. A merchant’s marketing choices and fulfillment processes are separate from this platform description.
Connected services and payment information.
Penni Cart uses infrastructure and integration services to deliver its capabilities. The repository includes Convex for backend data and configured integrations for payment, shipping and email services. Which integrations process a store’s information depends on the store configuration.
Stripe and Square payment fields use the payment provider’s interface for sensitive card entry. The final policy must include an approved processor list, processing locations, relevant contracts and any international transfer disclosures; these are not inferred here.
