A great product page should lead into a checkout that feels connected. Design the surrounding layout, typography and checkout elements in your website instead of replacing the frontend.
Stripe and Square use their own secure payment fields. You can design the checkout around those fields, while the provider controls sensitive card entry. Available payment methods depend on your account, country, currency and the released Penni Cart integration.
Give test mode its own credentials.
Configure the Stripe publishable and secret keys for the selected mode, together with the matching webhook signing secret. Public configuration exposes the publishable key; secret credentials stay on the server.
Run a test checkout, confirm the payment in Stripe and verify the paid order in Penni Cart. Switching to live mode also means using the correct live credentials and webhook endpoint.

Make recurring purchases a deliberate setup.
Recurring product renewals currently have Stripe and Converge processing paths. Square is a one-time checkout option, not a supported recurring-renewal processor. Confirm saved payment references and a complete renewal test before launching subscriptions.
Subscription renewal is more than a successful first payment. Test the saved billing reference, cadence, recurring amount and cancellation workflow with your intended product configuration.

Can I replace Stripe’s card fields with my own inputs?
No. Use the provider-secure Stripe fields. Checkout customization applies to the surrounding experience and supported elements, without collecting raw card details in your own form.
Does this require native Webflow Ecommerce?
Penni Cart adds a separate commerce layer to your website. Your Webflow hosting and CMS requirements still depend on your site, and production access requires the appropriate Penni Cart plan.
Are every Stripe wallet and payment method available?
Do not assume every method in Stripe’s catalog is exposed by the integration. Confirm the method, account region and currency with a real checkout test.
