Pick your install path
Use the Webflow app, the plain HTML loader or the explicit framework setup.
Connect one product
Follow the documented commerce attributes and verify the item added to the cart.
Complete checkout
Configure delivery and payment, then test the complete journey on your published staging site.
Choose the right integration for your website
Webflow users can connect through the Penni Cart app. Plain HTML websites can use a blocking install snippet; framework-rendered websites use the explicit runtime setup. Choose the correct path for your site before copying code, and keep an unchanged copy of your live website while testing.
Make the cart represent real selections
A cart needs product identifiers, prices and selected options that match the store configuration. Give customers a way to change quantity, remove an item and understand the total. If the product requires a choice, do not silently add a default the shopper has not selected.
Connect checkout to the cart
Show a clear next step from cart to checkout. Keep the order summary visible and explain shipping or tax changes before payment. Configure a supported payment provider and avoid collecting card details through ordinary custom form inputs.
Test the unglamorous states
Try an empty cart, a removed item, a long product name, an invalid address and a failed payment. Confirm a successful order appears once with the right products and amount. These states are part of the shopping experience, even when they do not appear in your launch screenshots.
